Zacc Phillips

Zacc Phillips, known for his roles as a vocalist (singer and rapper) and instrumentalist (keyboard/piano and guitar), was a notable presence in Hunted Down Music Group (HDMG) from 2011 until 2018 when he parted ways amicably. Before (and during) his time with HDMG, Zacc contributed his musical talents to several bands, including the now-defunct “Even Stars Fall Down,” “Country Drive,” and “Essence of Life.” Each chapter in his musical journey marked a progression in his skills and a deepening passion for the art. Zacc’s musical odyssey began with playing the drums as a young boy, evolving into what many would describe as a “jack of all trades” in music. The formation of “Essence Of Life” alongside his cousin Dustin Smith showcased his early commitment to collaborative musical endeavors. Over the years, Zacc’s determination led him to diversify his skills, mastering the guitar and later adding the piano to his repertoire. His journey took a solo turn as he ventured into vocal performance and further honed his instrumental abilities. Joining a church group, Zacc continued to refine his craft, earning accolades for his remarkable voice. Fueled by respect and determination, he embarked on creating his original tracks, contributing a unique sound to the music landscape. While Zacc is no longer formally part of the music industry, he continues to channel his passion by playing bass and keyboard for his local church band. This chapter reflects not just a departure from HDMG but a continued commitment to music within a different context, underscoring the enduring influence of his multifaceted talent.
