Megan Montenegro, also known as “Megan Spradlin,” “Megan Tumbleson,” and affectionately referred to as “Cammy,” entered the realm of Hunted Down Music Group (HDMG) in 2011, bringing her exceptional vocal talents to the forefront. Megan’s musical journey traces back to the 2nd grade when she discovered her passion for music through active participation in the choir, laying the foundation for a lifelong love affair with the art. As Megan honed her vocal skills over the years, her live performances garnered admiration and attention. However, it was Yung Tek of Quick-2-Blast Recordz/Southside Muzik who provided Megan with the opportunity to explore the recording aspect. Contributing her vocals to a chorus, Megan’s popularity surged within her hometown, becoming a sought-after talent. Recommendations from various quarters led her to the doorstep of HDMG. Tyler Lyons, in search of a captivating chorus for his album, recognized Megan’s prowess and invited her to collaborate on multiple tracks. Their successful partnership showcased Megan’s versatility, solidifying her status as not just a vocalist but a multifaceted artist. Renowned for her talent and beauty, Megan became a local favorite, ultimately influencing her decision to join the Hunted Down crew. The collaboration on Lil’ Sickka’s “If Life Is This” (credited as Megan Spradlin) and Tyler Lyons’ “Goodbye” (credited as Megan Tumbleson) underscored Megan’s ability to adapt to various musical styles. Her decision to align herself with HDMG was fueled by dedication, work ethic, and an eagerness to share her authentic musicality with a wider audience.
